At the Vancouver Peace Summit in September 2009, His Holiness the Dalai Lama declared that “The world will be saved by the Western woman.” According to a report by The Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute, His Holiness said, “Some people may call me a feminist … but we need more effort to promote basic human values — human compassion, human affection. And in that respect, females have more sensitivity for others’ pain and suffering.”

My Horse Training Adventures
I picked strawberries to earn the money to buy my first horse, SugarFoot. When I was twelve I took a four year 4-H course in Gresham, Oregon, learning how to raise, train and show horses.
At fifteen, I began training professionally, starting with the ponies at Meadowland Dairy. I trained horses in Oregon, including a racehorse named Playboy. Then I trained and raced Mr. Sam, who still holds the track record at Paniolo Park at the Parker Ranch in Waimea, Hawaii.
On the Big Island I trained a herd of wild Hawaiian Horses and helped the Paniolos with “problem horses” at Parker Ranch. And I gentle-broke some wild horses in Calgary, Canada, while I was modeling there.
On Maui, my stallion, SunDancer was the Kipahulu stud, and I ran a stable in Olinda.
On Maui I learned show jumping. This is Sunancer and I in our first show in Makawao, Maui:
I learned liberty training with the great Hollywood horse trainer, Denzel Cameron, who came to Maui to train SunDancer to star in the screenplays I wrote for family feature films, StarDancer and Horseman…an Adventure at the Dawn of Time.
I even rode Kalio Kai, (Sea Horse in Hawaiian) a Tropic Killer Whale with 3 inch long teeth!
I’ve been so blessed, raising and training so many beautiful horses… I love their Spirit and am so grateful for their friendships that have enriched my life!
StarDancer (DA LTD) is my “baby,” now.
Happy trails to you….

Imagine a global food forest
Why? To raise cattle for meat – that’s what is destroying paradise. So stop eating beef and plant fruit & nut trees wherever you can. Cattle ranches make excellent places to create our global food forest. http:thegoddessiam.com
